I have to agree with Shawn. Some of the songs are okay, but nothing memorable. 2 big talents with no chemistry.

The last thing George did I liked was Sacred Groove.

I really liked the first album. Of these two new tracks, I love Promised Land, but I don't especially like Afterlife. Still looking forward to the new record, though.

I think, like the first album, that the songs are well composed, but the mix is crap. Yes, the drums are weak, and Lynch's guitar sounds like Tripping Daisy. Sweet does a marvelous job though.

It's Sweet trying to turn George's riffs into songs. He does his best, I imagine. It just seems to lack chemistry. So boring.

It's a Frontiers thing....they pair people up in hopes the names will sell units...in this case, they sold enough to make a second one.

New song, Bridge Of Broken Lies

I just listened to it today. I was going to buy it for my dad for his birthday next week but I opted for the new LA guns and Steelheart instead. Man, this pairing seems good in theory but the album sounds awful. The backing vocals are a joke, the songwriting sounds disjointed, and the production doesn't do anything to help.
