| Funny, as much as I was into grunge I don't remember these guys at all, even though they were right in the middle of the Seattle scene. I got their s/t in my recent bargain bin raids, and I really like it. Very deep and it keeps growing on me. It reminds me a lot of Mother Love Bone, with some Cult thrown in. I've only heard samples of their later album, but it sounds poppier. I'm told they have recently reformed for a tour with STP. Good band, I don't know how I missed them the first time around. | |

| Sweetwater is and was a great band! Did not fit into the grunge explosion, but still churned out a number of poppier rock records throughout the 90's. The S/T is a great record, Everything Will Be Alright is an amazing song. There other albums are just as good, most known is the 95 Atlantic release Superfriends. With the regularly rotated Superstar. After Superfriends came the Suicide album. Independently released. Before the S/T, the band released another S/T on New Rage Records in 1992 with a handful of cuts making it on the 1993 Atlantic release. Of note, if you do like the band seek out the side project for lack of better word, considering it is the same band playing the same style of music...Parc Boys-Two Weeks To Live from 1998 on Will Records. | |

| There was an actual 70's band called Stillwater....Cameron Crowe had to ask them to get permission to use the name. | |

| Sweetwater were one of the more obsure Settle bands that got signed to a major label during so called Grunge explosion than disappeared, also during the 60's that were was a band also called Sweetwater who's two main claims to fame are A) They were first band to perform at 1969 Woodstock Festival. and b) VH1 made one of their dreadful made for tv movies detailing there story, the less said about that waste of film, the better, as far as the music from both bands, the settle Sweetwater was very good and sadly overlooked and the 60's Sweetwater, while not bad it is very dated and not in a good way. | |

Those porno mags are very carefully catalogued and filed in chronological order, pal. So make sure you put them back EXACTLY WHERE YOU FOUND THEM. If one of them is out of place... I'll KNOW. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
