I like the new album but dude it is straight up derivative Zep cloning material, especially in regard to the later albums. And is it just me or is his voice getting weaker?
It's not just you, I said the same thing back on page 1:

Don't tell me he's blown out his vocal cords already. The whole overall tone of his voice isn't as velvety smooth or resonant as it was on the From The Fires album; here it's a more "pinched" or scratchy sound

Absolute! (I should've read the entire thread) The opening passages of the new album have him in Jon Anderson mode with the weirdest falsetto. Curious if he's been struggling to keep it together.

I just saw some clips from their SNL performance and the vocals were very rough. At least they are doing it all live, I guess.

I thought the vocals sounded fine. The singer did seem nervous though. While the rest of the band moved around and rocked out, he looked like a deer frozen in headlights for both performances.

I seen them on SNL recently. The singer looked exactly like a Hobbit. His stage name should be Frodo Van Plant.

I just got into this band. Kinda digging them. I love Zeppelin and these kids have it down pack.
