Discs 1-4 are The Eagle Has Landed parts 2-4, and the fifth CD is the audio disc of To Hell And Back Again DVD.
I own none of those, and the price ain't bad, so I have to consider picking this up.

^^Saxon is one band whose live performances often sound better than the studio recordings, IMO.

After listening to this album a couple of times, it doesn't grab me as much as Battering Ram, and much less than Sacrifice.
I don't know exactly why, because it sounds definitely like a Saxon album. It has all the trademarks. Just nothing special. Maybe I need more time with it, but the good thing is that even if this is not their best, I think the band still has more left in them. They've been on a roll, and I doubt this is their last.

Adding Johann Hegg will put some people off but I like it, adds a new dimension to their music.

I busted this album out again the other day and it's just great. I don't know how these guys managed to come up with so much killer music in the second half of their careers. It's astounding.

The album gets better and better after each listen. Saxon got heavier over the years
