No way have you gone the past 17 years of your life without hearing at least two or three of their songs, even if you didn't realize it. In the End, Numb (I actually heard this song on the local classic rock radio station this afternoon...now there's a sign I'm getting old!), Somewhere I Belong...they've had plenty of hits on both hard rock and standard "hit" radio. Oh, I'm sure I've heard 'em, without even knowing it (I'm assuming that some of their music must have turned up in TV commercials/movie soundtracks, or as background noise while shopping in a store) but I honestly wouldn't be able to name a single one of their songs. By the time they blew up I was long past caring what was hip 'n' cool to the radio/MTV crowd, so they were never on my radar. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

They absolutely were. They collaborated live a few times. Plus, Chester was the godfather to Chris Cornell's son. | |
