| Most of my musical interest is hard rock and metal. Even the stuff outside of that is generally guitar-based blues and jazz. Alt, grunge, punk, nu, whatever label you want to slap on it. I either like it or I don't.
Don't care much for country, pop or rap. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

I'm not real familiar with any of them myself, but aren't they kinda folk-ish? "Americana" I think the kids are calling it these days. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americana_(music) _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. A friend of mine who hates them describes it as banjo mangling

| i listen to all kinds of stuff - metal, rock (including kraut, prog, etc), jazz, blues, big band, classical, 80s, 70s, and some country. metal/hard rock is my go to music but it really depends on my mood.

| I tend to go by, if it sounds good to me I get it, whatever it is. If its not on You Tube to snag I wait and sometimes forget about it. Since I had to dump a lot of my vinyl collection in 2005 I've been lucky enough to get most of it back from YT, and more, even 60's stuff I thought I'd never hear again. and saves a lot of money to as neednt have replaced a lot of albums with CDs, but not anymore. All good fun collecting and putting videos onto DVD instead of hearing albums now and then. | |

| Over 98% of my collection is metal. The rest is basically classic rock and blues.
I might enjoy some 80s pop music as well. Good old classic hits.

| Prog rock mostly and Allan Holdsworth. I do not want to come up with controversy or wage a war, but System Of A Down is one of my favorite bands regardless of being metal or not. I do enjoy: The Police, XTC, old punk, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Toto and I very often spend time watching vocal groups on YouTube. I have a huge distaste for Brazilian music, but I do not mind listening to Latin America music ( Salsa, rumba, etc ) specially live stuff. I do like Country like Jonnhy Cash and old school bluegrass as well some New Orleans jazz. Old school funky music is also great. I occasionally listen to Tony Bennett and Sinatra. | |
