Funny that you hate both Corbin and Bayley equally seeing that they are the complete antithesis of one another.

You haven't missed much akeldama.
This has been a really lame episode of Smackdown IMO

Ever our friend Alexis got jobbed on this episode.
This Styles vs Orton match better make up for it...

Good to know but as much as I like Mickie the fact that she turned on Alexa pissed me off. Especially so soon.

I can't think of a single other wrestler who could make an attack in the back with a lead pipe AND lowering a forklift onto your would-be foe in the same segment be boring. That's quite an accomplishment.
Congratulations Baron, The Black Hole Of Charisma.

I saw the replay of the attack and it was rather lame. AJ will lose but make Orton look better than he has in ages.

I sort of enjoyed that whole segment; they subtly teased that Alexis might be turning face. Otherwise how can you explain forcing the champ to defend their title in what is essentially a battle royal?

It was typical Baron Corbin....

The reason I decided to give him a chance is cuz I liked what I heard him say on Talking Smack a few times. There's a somewhat similar guy on NXT named Elias Samson.

I think he just needs to shut up and get a manager.
That whole segment would have come off a whole lot better with Paul Heyman standing in the background yelling "Get him Baron!".
Or something like that.

Or put him in a tag team with Mojo whom I also hate but at least he could be the mouthpiece of the team.

So help me, if they have Orton beat Wyatt at WM...
I think Smackdown used to hold a clear edge over Raw as the better show but lately it's really slipping IMO. It's getting WAY too predictable. Giving Orton a win over Wyatt at WM will just cement my opinion

This is modern day sports entertainment. Wins/Losses no longer matter. It's sad because it makes champs look weak. Champs should NEVER lose unless there is a title change. There was some discussion about it on a podcast. Don't remember which one it was either Cornette, Ross or Prichard who spoke with someone in WWE and they said "wins don't matter, stories matter". And whoever it was went off on the comment saying that wins and losses should always matter.
I have SD recorded and i wanted to take a break until after Mania I might just have to watch to see what Cena does to Ellsworth. I can't stand that jobber he has worn out his welcome.

They milked the whole "Emmalina" thing for about 6 months only to have her come out once, walk halfway down the entrance then walk back. And now we're being force-fed "Emma" videos?
I don't think so. I'm long beyond caring and unless there's a good reason, Creative has really screwed the pooch with this. I don't think anyone give a rat's ass anymore. WWE should just cut their losses and give her her release.
It is possible that someone with a giant ego and in charge was pissed off about something Emma did / said, or possibly didn't do, and they decided to make her suffer; put her on the backburner yet again. Yeah, Emma and Dana Brook were a great team in NXT. I can't even remember if they were together or for how long on RAW.

yes! or if Eva Marie is teamed up with Roman Reigns !

I was watching an old RAW or Smackdown from 10 or 12 years ago or so, and it had Orton's old theme . It would be cool if he went back to using that one (even if it sounded like Nickelback). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U44M8jEMHo4

Yes, I think Smackdown has usually been better than RAW since 2003 /2004. The past month or two, now in 2017, they are on equal footing, and it's in quicksand.

Same here, ever since the day when Eric Bischoff simply produced a new Championship belt to give to Triple H after Brock Lesnar went to Smackdown, the belts started to mean nothing. At least one of them meant nothing to me! I dig that Charlotte Flair had the Women's Championship, as she knows how to cut promos like the old timers, and her in-ring work consistently gets better, but even if she never had it again, it wouldn't matter to me as she will always be my fave chick on the roster. The one time she chewed out her father Ric and said she didn't need him anymore, almost had me in tears (maybe I was crying, I don't remember) and NONE of the other women in WWE have as much charisma to pull that off.

I mean you really have to be the black hole of charisma if you can make a backstage segment involving a lead pipe, a forklift and Dean Ambrose (who's a pretty good seller) seem dull and lifeless but damned if Corbin didn't accomplish that feat.
I was watching the TV in stupefied amazement because you really have to suck to make a segment like that boring.

As much of a fanboy of the Undertaker that I've always been, even I think he should have hung it up by now. Thought he would after the streak ended.
Funny little thing, when Orton was about to do the mid-rope DDT, I said to myself, "Here comes the mid-rope DVD." Slip of the tongue.
Yeah, with how many times other big names have kicked out of the RKO, you'd think they'd let AJ get out of one. Now you are going to have AJ pissed at Shane kicking off the rumored match between the two. If Orton beats Bray and Shane beats AJ, then it will sink Smackdown! IMO.
As mlotek said, Orton's old song was much better. I have an MP3 of both but rarely listen to the current one (I sometimes listen to various WWE theme songs when traveling from lunch back to work, just a silly thing I do)..
