Great album, and my favourite by the band.
Electric, Sonic Temple, Beyond Good & Evil, are all good, but I think the sound and the songwriting was at its peak here.

Correction - the Testament I picked up yesterday was "The Ritual," not "The Legacy." I've owned "The Legacy" on CD for quite some time. Dunno how I got the titles mixed up. Must be getting old. D'oh!!

I don't think that Flots album gets much love from the metal community, but I like it. I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I like later-era Flots over their first 2 albums. Eric AK vocals sound more natural and controlled.

I had Cuatro on cassette back in the day (and saw them live when they were touring for it, opening for Mercyful Fate), but never got round to upgrading to CD till now. I haven't heard it (or Testament's Ritual, for that matter) in dog years.

How is that one? Looked up the track listing and they picked some interesting choices.
1. Sunglasses At Night (Corey Hart) 2. Untouched (The Veronicas) 3. Promises in the Dark (Pat Benatar) 4. Out of the Darkness (Little Steven) 5. Hazy Shade of Winter (Simon & Garfunkel) 6. The Darkest Side of the Night (Metropolis) 7. Waiting For Darkness (Ozzy Osbourne)

Hmmm, I'll have to think about it. I watched the video for 'Sunglasses at Night' and wasn't impressed. I don't care much for that song to begin with and they did a pretty much straight-up cover. It didn't sound that different from the original. I was hoping for something with more grit.

the sound on the covers goes closer to reckless love than 69 eyes. I like that though.
