"Stories" is one of my favourite songs ever. It says Jon Oliva on the cover, but there's great contributions by Matt LaPorte and Criss Oliva on this album. A wonderful record.

Beyond Fear is also excellent. Whatever happened to the follow-up album? I'd have loved one, and there were rumors of it happening, but instead we got a bad Tim Owens solo record, and then nothing.

I almost bought that one time as a 2-in-1 with Dio's Angry Machines. It was a reputable second-hand shop. I had it in my hand and went with my things to the check out (where the owner was), to have a chat and show what I was about to buy. He immediately said that it's a bootleg, and it's his obligation to warn potential buyers, but that it was such a cool edition (some sort of illegal Estonian print) that he still felt like having it on display though was weary of actually selling it. I eventually opted out, and left without getting it. You can get both CD's separate, though to this day I still haven't. Mostly because I hate Angry Machines. I just thought that would have been one of the only ways for me to convince myself to finally purchase Angry Machines to complete my Dio CD collection. If it only had been a legit release.

But I just don't feel like wasting money on a turd like Angry Machines. Maybe if they released a special edition with tons of bonus material, or if I got it dirt cheap.

And I'd also like to maybe get those Elf recordings.
