Metal forums?

Social networks sites like Facebook are neat for keeping-in-touch with family & friends but message boards are best for discussions and I love reading what other people sharing the same hobbies is I do hgave to say. So I have visited the Encyclopedia Metalium site, the forum is horrible though, lots of name calling immature people that acts like "intellectuals" ...hah! And I heard there is a racist forum (I will not name it because they dont deserve the hits)..

Can you recommended other great metal boards? I promise to stick around the Heart Of Metal boards, LOL!! Been busy with moving and helping with my son's college funds.

For the most part people there are pretty respectful towards other posters. But the thing is, the board is so huge that when you start a new thread it was the potential to be buried 3 or 5 pages deep within 10 minutes. In fact right now there are over 700 users on that board and it's a slow time of day.

But I like this forum for metal discussion, that one for all other things. I know what you mean, some can get pretty out of hand with trolls. The Melodic Rock forums are troll infested so I pretty much stopped posting there.

Forces of Steel is a forum i'm proud to be apart of, some good guys there that know their shit, just a well rounded forum.

another forum i liked going to was Heavy Metal Rarities, a forum dedicated to obscure old school metal, where i found band's like Gotham City and other's.

I use to belong to several forums but this is really the only one I continue to use these days.

As mentioned traffic has decrease on a number of usually haunts but aside from daily pokes here, a have a few other regular haunts.

As mentioned the Corroseum is a fave that deals in an exclusive niche for old school metal and highly collectible vinyls and demo's.
