I actually have heard pt. 1 but I was kind of turned off by the lyrics in two of the songs where Tolkki's anti-Christian beliefs show through. I do need to give it another try seeing as I, for the most part, try to ignore some of his ignorant lyrics and focus on the music (which is quite good if I remember correctly). I normally don't really care if the members aren't believers, but it seems one of Tolkki's purposes in life is to turn people away from Christianity, and at the time I got that album it rubbed me the wrong way (in a way it still does).

Yeah, Timo Tolkki used to be pretty anti-God. Interestingly enough, I read in an interview with him a few years back though ... he said he now believes in God. I thought that was pretty cool. He had a breakdown shortly before, so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.
