4 of my all time favorite albums right there.
Those (except Stop The Bleeding which I do like quite a bit) along with Piece Of Mind and Ethereal Mirror are some of my all time favs as well. Destiny, IMO is the best music I've heard from Statovarius (at least the albums I've heard) and with as good as their other music is, that is saying quite a bit.

As much as I love "Destiny", my favorite work from Stratovarius is "Elements Pts 1 & 2". Have you heard these yet? Masterpieces IMO. Back on track, my tunes for today so far: Deliverance ~ Greetings of Death This is the D that I love! |

I brought a KILLER DWARFS disc to work today as well, but I brought "Stand Tall". _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Killer Dwarfs is a band I've never owned anything by nor heard. But the other day I was watching Metal Mania on VH1Classic and they played one of their songs. Can't remember what it was called - but it really surprised me. Great band from what I heard. I think I might pick up something used. |

I think I might pick up something used. Same here. These guys slipped under the radar for me back in the day, but I occasionaly hear them on satellite radio and it makes me think I missed out on something good.

| The Killer Dwarfs should have hit it bigger back in the 80's and Early 90's. They had the label backing with Epic but could not break through. The vocals are certainly unique being in a higher register (Sometimes compared to Geddy Lee but they are unique on their own). I had Stand Tall on cassette but don't own it anymore. Time to fill in my Killer Dwarfs collection. | |

I actually have heard pt. 1 but I was kind of turned off by the lyrics in two of the songs where Tolkki's anti-Christian beliefs show through. I do need to give it another try seeing as I, for the most part, try to ignore some of his ignorant lyrics and focus on the music (which is quite good if I remember correctly). I normally don't really care if the members aren't believers, but it seems one of Tolkki's purposes in life is to turn people away from Christianity, and at the time I got that album it rubbed me the wrong way (in a way it still does).
