PLAYLISTS 2016

This is a weird album. It's definitely different from the last one, which I hated, but different is not necessarily any better in this case. It's nowhere near as good as Whatever Gets You Off or the self-titled release.

These guys cannot write a ballad to save their lives. Several of the heavier songs sound like they have a lot of potential at the start and then don't really go anywhere. They really went overboard with the vocals effects too.

What the hell happened to this band?

I have their earlier ones with a different vocalist (pre-Whatever) and while the vocals pretty much suck, you can tell the songs were there. Now it's the other way round. The singer is decent but the songwriting sucks.

Awesome. It's quite a departure from the debut, but I think there are quite a few good songs on here. It's definitely better than the bulk of Pearcy's solo output.

It is a good listen but I like the debut a hair better.

I usually hate bands with stupid names like Show Me a Dinosaur but I don't hate this! Fantastic record.

That is a stupid name. Stupid logo too; the only word I can make out is "A"
