Exumer's new album The Raging Tides

I've just had Exumer's latest studio effort arrive in the post on CD. This is an absolutely enjoyable piece. Very catchy and plenty of killer riffs, good gang vox and a heavy dose of that good old eighties vibe.

I dig it. Keeps a pretty good pace, until you get to the Pentagram cover.

It's decent, but as much as I liked it, it just made me want to listen to Possessed By Fire. These guys are better musicians now than they were then but I miss the manic ferocity they had.

I heard a few songs. It's cool but my mind wasn't blown. I agree with with Boris2008 I miss the ferocity of Possessed by fire

Did anyone really expect to have their mind blown by a resurrected 3rd tier thrash outfit?

I am getting this one

I got it in the mail yesterday. I'm listening to it for the first time right now, good stuff.

This is a very good album. I'm on my third listen and i like what i hear. Solid thrash.

I'm a little thrashed out at the moment but I'm actually enjoying this album. The mid-paced numbers are pretty sick and the whole affair is pretty catchy. Nothing like their old stuff but PbF was never a neck-snapper to me anyway.
