| My favorite 'new' thrash band is Municipal Waste. I love that crossover sound. |

| I decided to bring this thread back because the title applies to me this year. Thanks to discovering NLTM last year I have rekindled my love for the origional extreme metal and this year my collection is growing by leaps and bounds. These are the thrash albums I got this year so far:
Anthrax-Anthology: No Hit Wonders Anthrax-Persistence Of Time Death Angel-Act III Exodus-Pleasures Of The Flesh Megadeth-Peace Sells...But Who's Buying Megadeth-Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good Megadeth-Rust In Peace Megadeth-Countdown To Extinction (more speed but I will still count it) Megadeth-That One Night Metallica-Kill 'Em All Metallica-Master Of Puppets Metallica-...And Justice For All Overkill-Necroshine Sacrament-Testimony of Apocalypse Sepultura-Arise Sepultura-Schizophrenia Testament-Formation Of Damnation To some this may not seem like a whole lot, but for a guy who usually sticks to power (both origional and Euro), progressive, gothic, and melodic that is quite a significant amount. | |

| I've been on a mini-kick as well. Listening to Testament - Formation of Damnation right now. I know it's awesome because it seems to fly by in about 10 minutes! I'm not bored wondering when it'll end, but left wanting more! Perfect! | |

| I've been on a kick non-stop since the beginning of 08. Just discovered Lich King like 4 months ago, pretty sweet. I'm surprised I liked it so much because I usually cant stand any of these modern thrash bands of late, but these chaps can actually almost pull off the classic bay-area sound, impressive. I've wondered if I will lose my taste for thrash like I kind of did for power-metal, but I cant grow tired of the stuff! | |
