My favorite 'new' thrash band is Municipal Waste.

I love that crossover sound.

To some this may not seem like a whole lot, but for a guy who usually sticks to power (both origional and Euro), progressive, gothic, and melodic that is quite a significant amount.

I've been on a mini-kick as well. Listening to Testament - Formation of Damnation right now. I know it's awesome because it seems to fly by in about 10 minutes! I'm not bored wondering when it'll end, but left wanting more! Perfect!

I've been on a kick non-stop since the beginning of 08. Just discovered Lich King like 4 months ago, pretty sweet. I'm surprised I liked it so much because I usually cant stand any of these modern thrash bands of late, but these chaps can actually almost pull off the classic bay-area sound, impressive.

I've wondered if I will lose my taste for thrash like I kind of did for power-metal, but I cant grow tired of the stuff!
