Back in the early 90s, when a lot of music was still accessed via mail order; I discovered an underground record label called A.R.T Records.
I found it by seeking out bands that I heard on an obscure radio show called Tempered Steel (another story in itself).
This little label had some real cool stuff (including a lot of vinyl); for example:

-Some early material by Anathema

-Drop Dead (a little known, but awesome death/thrash band)

-Drybones  (Crucified-esqe later changed their name to Everdown signed to Solid State records)

-Pale Horse (doom)

Does anyone else remember A.R.T?
If so, what music and or memories do you have? What other bands were launched?

A buddy of mine had a 7in with Anathema  (may have been a split).
I owned 7 inches by Drop Dead (recently traded for some other music by them), and Drybones, and I had Pale Horse's "Mournful" cassette.

I had some stuff on cassette by A.R.T. but have since traded much of it off. I don't do cassettes much anymore.
