I've never understood the rabid passion for that record. It's good for sure but the reviews it got were so good (Kerrang gave it 6/5) That I was expecting my socks blown off. I was a bit disappointed Me neither. I don't get the admiration. I dig their later stuff way more. Anyhow, I voted Testament just a hair over both Death Angel and Overkill. I just listen to The Legacy not long ago, so it's still fresh in my mind.

too raw and no real talent.

| All great. I would've gone Alice in Hell, one of the most enjoyable thrash records ever, but Death Angel's has always been such an influence on me. It's the most watered down production of them all, but the energy and spunk is through the roof. | |
