Progressive rock here. I like a little of both but don't love either. But if I'm choosing, prog rock gets the vote.

Since we all know what prog-rock is it gets my vote. The genre-cops seem to have a filed day with stuff like this...what is prog-metal & what is not. The bands considered to be prog-metal are too limited in the confines of "metal" to really get nearly as "progressive" as the bands did in the late 60's, 1970's & beyond.
