First, they're a metal band, thus belong in this forum. =)
Second, apparently they recorded a new album without anyone, even their label, knowing about it. It's called Immortalized and will be out on August 21. Here's a new tune:
I love it! Now, I know most here probably dislike them, but I think they're great. (Draiman is massive blowhard, though.) Difficult to be unique in this day and age, but they really do have their own sound.

I liked them better when they were a third-rate thrash metal band.

Wow. I thought they were still on "hiatus" from a few years ago as last I saw was the odds and sods collection that I need to grab. I played the hell out of Sickness and 10,000 when they were new ( a lot of spins in the basement lifting weights) and go t sort of burned out. But this is certainly cool news; thanks, Ken.

That's me. This sounds a little more inspired than the last couple of albums (my son likes them and I've heard them all).

They're OK. I have the first several and I bought that "odds and sods" collection a couple months ago. At least this song sounds a little different; this band is really "samey" to me. I like that album cover too; reminds me of "Cabin In The Woods"

These guys fall into the same category as Godsmack for me. They were new and different on the scene and interesting for the first album or 2 but quickly got old and repetitive. Very 90's aggro-groove-metal. I saw them open for someone years ago. Kid Rock maybe?

I really like these guys, the best Nu-Metal band IMHO. Looking forward to this new album.

Their first album is worth a spin, but everything since has come off very same-y and I have a hard time summoning up any interest in this.
It's also not helped by the fact that Draiman got into a spat with one of my musical idols, Roger Waters, over some symbolism in the recent staging of The Wall you'd need a soft spot in your skull to be offended by...

I think their best album is still "Believe"

Draiman's not the first person to accuse Roger Waters of being an anti-semite.

I dont normally stray too much into the nu-metal waters but for Disturbed I will go in. I love 10,000 Fists. Great album.

Not the first, just the most recent.

Eh. Draiman is a massive sexist, so he should talk.

Eh. Draiman is a massive sexist, so he should talk.
Now are we talking genuine here or just based on song lyrics? If I'm going to defend Waters doing his artiste thing and torquing people off, I'm gonna have to defend Mr. Clean too if he's just doing that in song form. Catharsis and all that.
Unless he's just a knob, in which case, carry on.

I had to sing "Inside the Fire" in the cover band I sang in and I surprised myself that I actually enjoyed it. I tried to listen to several of their other songs and thought they were very bland.
