| Listening to their "Greatest" album. I know it's disco but, it's so catchy. My parents would play this kind of music nonstop especially when my mom worked out. These songs are embedded in my head but, I love em. Death to disco!!!! <3 Bee Gees | |

| I would say they also fit in the soft rock category. I like their vocal melodies. | |

| My wife likes the Bee Gees. I love their cheesy movie "Sgt. Peppers" with Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Steve Martin, etc. Ya gotta love the Future Villian Band.
I use to like the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack when I was a kid in grade school. Remeber the song "Disco Inferno"? Burn, baby, burn, disco inferno. Can't really stand that stuff now. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| This is a band I'm not real familiar with. I love some disco stuff though - if you consider ABBA and Blondie to be disco. I hate the cut-cutter disco stuff - but there really is some art to be found here.
I'm sure I've heard this band. Name a few of their hits would you? I might have to check these guys out. How do they compare to ABBA? |

Aerosmith - " The only reason to own this, other than you are an Aerosmith freak like me, is "Come Together," which was formerly only available on the terrible "Sgt. Peppers Soundtrack.""
Alice Cooper -
I for one was never exactly interested in owning the Bee Gees/Peter Frampton flop Sgt. Pepper's. however, it's cool to have the Beatles track from that atrocious soundtrack. (Aerosmith's contribution was also quite good and was the only hit from that album.)
Alice performed the Beatles song "Because" in the movie Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band around this time as well. The movies was terrible and tarnished the reputation of most of the artists involved, with the exception of Aerosmith and Alice, who were both portrayed as villains.

It was atrocious. The movie tarnished the reputation of all the bands and actors who appeared in the movie except Aerosmith and Alice Cooper, probably because they played the bad guys. Steve Martin obviously did ok for himself after the movie as well, but he too was a bad guy. The movie was incredibly bad. Cheesy is a better word for it. However, I own the DVD of the movie and find it entertaining in it's cheesiness.

| I love the Bee Gees. I like their '60s and early '70s output more. A more soft rock "British Invasion" singer/songwriter type music, but I do enjoy their "disco" output. A very good band, but people can't quite see past the image I guess. | |

I agree with 100% of what you said, you pretty much wrote what I was gonna write. I like their late 60's early 70's stuff the most. I dont love the BG's but i like em.

| It struck me very interesting that " Jive Talkin' " was added to 1970's dj playlists before they knew the Bee Gees were white. The soul & funk radio+club dj's I mean. | |
