Spanish language metal bands?

One of my friends at work asked me if I was familiar with any hard rock/metal bands that sing in Spanish? I'm not...so anybody have any suggestions?

Baron Rojo. Volumen brutal is a classic from them. It was released in 1982.

Wild is a new-ish traditional metal band from Madrid, Spain. I believe they have one ep and one full album out. As far as I know, it's all in Spanish.

I dig quite a few Spanish bands but they all sing in English. One cool band who do sing in Spanish is Acero Letal from Chile 

Baron Rojo is a classic band that I have always wanted to check out, but I just never did. I think now is the time!

I was going to post a song by Nexus, but I think that they are on the Neo Prog side of things.

I can't believe that there hasn't been a metal cover of this gem!

He did mention a band he likes called Angeles Del Infierno. I listened to a track and they sounded kind of Judas Priest-ish.

Thanks Lary, yes, a lot of great spanish language metal bands. Back in the 80s/90s some of my fav are PANZER (Spain), OBUS, SARATOGA, speed metal band MURO, IRON MAIDEN influenced band TIERRA SANTA, LUJURIA, SOBREDOSIS, BARON ROJO, SANTA (with a female vocalist), HERMETICA from ARGENTINA, LUZBEL from Mexico, LOGOS from Argentina ETC...
And today we have bands like OKER, CICLON, WILD (the singer left and formed MAVERICK but they sing in English) etc...they all keeping the 80s traditional spanish metal alive.

Some people already named some of them and they are all very good, with many cool albums.

I actually ordered Barón Rojo's album Metalmorfosis earlier today.

A bit of trivia: Lars Ulrich once stated Volumen Brutal is one of his favorite metal albums ever.

Check out Viuda Negra, an 80's classic heavy metal band from Spain. A compilation of their songs titled Colgar Los Habitos was released in March 2018. Excellent stuff.

Barón Rojo have announced via Facebook they are going on their farewell tour in 2020.
