What are your thoughts on this new one? I'll pick it up at some point, but I'm a little overwhelmed by other new music (Maiden & Slayer mostly) at the moment and figured it can wait. Plus, my need for more NWOTHM is waning right now. Too much too soon kinda thing. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

I wasn't completely sold on their debut. The vocals didn't jive with me, but repeated spins took care of that. I'm sure I'll pick this new one up at some point. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Nah, I didn't get that lucky, I actually had to pay (shudder) retail for this one. It's been so long since I've done that, I almost forgot what it's like. But seriously folks.... I snagged it at the little indie/import record store near my new office (which was also my old office about a decade ago, long story that I won't get into now)...since I got transferred back there in mid-July I stop in that CD shop once every week or so on my way home. I didn't see anything in the used bins that floated my boat on my most recent visit so I was wandering aimlessly around the stacks, trying to remember if there was anything else I was on the prowl for... I happened to be standing in front of the "W's" when the light bulb went on ("Oh yeah, Warrior Soul! Duh!") so I started digging. I was actually kinda surprised they still had a copy since it was released three years ago. Better late than never, eh? _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Decade Of Aggression - Slayer Under The Red Cloud - Amorphis Follow The Reaper - Children Of Bodom How is that Amorphis? I have only given it a first listen so far as most of my time is being spent with the new Maiden and Slayer. So far so good though - as I am sure you now know as I see you have picked it up yourself. | |
