| Started watching this recently and so far i'm liking it, what's your favorite episode of the show? I really liked the one with Quiet Riot, hearing about Frankie Banali's mother battling cancer and him taking any job he could to help her was just heartbreaking.
I hope they start doing new episodes, i'm gobsmacked that bands like Van Halen, Scorpions, Rush and Iron Maiden haven't been featured yet.

| Rush has their own 2 hour documentary; Beyond The Lighted Stage which was released theatrically. It is available on Netflix streaming.

| The Pantera "BTM" was a heartbreaker... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Yeah Pantera was done really well. The Thin Lizzy may be my favorite. And Leif Garrett lololol.
My only issue is that the BTM's come off a bit rushed. The Priest ep was really lacking; there's just way too much ground to cover in their entire career span to properly foot a, what, 42-minute offering.

| I really liked the one that they did on The Go-Go's. The Ted Nugent one was education as I'd always thought of him as a fairly principled guy who stood by his convictions even if they were unpopular. Turns out he was just a massive dickhead! | |

I was going to mention that. Plus, Maiden had Flight 666 (also from Sam Dunn who did the Rush flick)

I forgot about Ratt; they handled Crosby very well. Good one.

I was going to mention that. Plus, Maiden had Flight 666 (also from Sam Dunn who did the Rush flick) I almost mentioned Flight 666 but it's not a "career-spanning" documentary like those Behind The Music docs usually are since it just covers a specific tour. But it's a great documentary regardless. |

| I really enjoy the Classic Albums series, except they edit them for VH1 airing. They're not career-spanning save for a brief summary, but they're rather transparent and good dig into a specific era of the band's development. | |

| The Weird Al Yankovic one was really good. I was surprised by how good (if sad) the leif garrett one was, and the rick springfield and styx episodes made me fans of those artists. | |

| The Thin Lizzy episode was a favorite. The Pantera one was very heartbreaking. I also enjoyed the Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hall & Oates episodes. | |

| The AC/DC Behind the Music, amazing at that time Bon Scott had been gone for close to two decades and both Malcolm and Angus seemed like it was just yesterday they had lost their best mate. | |

| I'd like to see the AC/DC one--there's quite a few I haven't seen. Problem with VH1C is that they air the same four or five all the time. The Megadeth ep is on almost every Saturday. | |

| I don't know that I have a favorite one exactly but they did do a good job with them, making artists that I couldn't care less about seem interesting.
As they went on, however, it became evident that the producers found a formula (rise, fall, personal tragedy, redemption) and shoehorned it into every episode. It started to become almost comical. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| I enjoyed Styx and Journey. Their shows were almost identical in some spots. Weird Al was also a good one, recently saw that one again a few weeks ago. | |
