| I also dig E. Power Biggs, he plays classical music on church/cathedral pipe organs around the world. | |

| I played violin for about 8 years, playing Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, etc. Of course it was the simple basic stuff, but I loved it. Definitely helped me to understand and appreciate music in a different way than just as a casual listener. My sister played the piano and she always had the Classical station on at home. So it's been a part of my life since I can remember. | |

| I don't own any myself, but I don't mind it when I hear it. When I had satellite radio, every once in awhile, I'd switch over to one of the classical stations just to change things up a bit. Cleanse the audio palate, so to say. I'll tune it in on the car radio too when I can't take anymore of my wife's sh*tty taste in pop music.
Any knowledge or recognition of songs or composers mostly seeped into my brain from a steady diet of Looney Tunes as a child. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| I rarely play classical music, can't seem to really remember much of it, always enjoyed mostly the "heavy" stuff (eg.Wagner).
Yngwie is cool if I hear it in small doses, or just one LP. He sees to be overkill compared to Richie Blackmore who kept it more to a minimum. Richie did the same type of fusion of rock and classical and wrote catchy , memorable songs in Rainbow and Deep Purple.

| Bought Listz " FAUST " CD - what a day to listen to it in the car too - Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor have a movie called FAUST made in the 60's - anyways, snowing - but not collecting - windy - foliage still on the trees - very grey skies - dreamy classical music - on all soul's day (Catholic) - in 4 parts - over 70 minutes - | |

| Do you speak in random-stream-of-conscientious-broken-sentences too or just type that way? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

me exactly. Once I started listening to Classical, I realized that I had been listening to it my entire childhood. My dad a large collection and would listen to it all the time. He didn't listen to any of the popular music of the day, so maybe that's why it didn't dawn on me. I never enjoyed music until I started listening to it on my own. Once I discovered music, my eyes opened up and heard things in a completely different way.
