Yeah. Like I said, the Stars being ahead of the Wild is not because the Stars are any good. It's just that the Wild have been even worse.

Devan Dubnyk has lit a fire in the Wild locker room. The Stars are playing just as they have so far, but with the resurrection of Minnesota, I've all but lost the bet by now, and there's still like 20 games to go.

My Blackhawks are in serious trouble losing their leading scorer. They have enough talent to win some games but not get through the playoffs.

I hate seeing superstars get hurt - but North Stars/Wild fans never will shed a tear when the Hawks get knocked down a peg. And, Secord STILL SUCKS!

The Stars have gotten their game together and are playing some pretty good hockey. Lehtonen and Seguin are both healthy. Too bad it's too little too late.
The Wild look like they could be contenders, if Dubnyk continues playing like a biblical beast.
I will yield to my defeat once it's mathematically impossible the Stars can catch up and Paypal the $. Which should be in a few rounds...
I'll just focus on following my Hawks. I've watched every game so far this season, and it's been a bit of a roller coaster. The good stuff is their defense and penalty killing, but the offense really hasn't been there like it has the previous seasons. Of course Kane was on pace for the Art Ross Trophy, but even he is injured now.

Just glad you knew that I "bumped" for you brother. And, it has been fun. Never thought back around Christmas that We had a chance. Paypal is not necessary. A Cup would be pretty freaking stellar though. We'll see. The Ducks still seem to have our number after all these years.

That was nothing. Secord just taught him a little lesson. Ciccarelli did much worse and was a constant nuisance.
When I first started watching hockey the Hawks were the toughest team in the league, bar none. And they kept at it for a good couple years. I just missed out on Behn Wilson, but they still got Secord, then Grimson, Mike Peluso, Kimble, Cam Russell, Jim Cummins, Bryan Marchment, Dave Manson, Enrico Ciccone, then Bob Probert, Reid Simpson, Basil McRae, Chris Murray, Ryan VandenBussche, you name it. I could go on and on.
Nowadays they are pretty much the softest team in the league. Last couple of seasons they've kept one tough guy with the team - it's been Brandon Bollig - but this season it's Dan Carcillo, and everyone knows Carcillo is more of a troublemaker rather than an enforcer of the code of conduct. Pretty much the softest team I've ever seen, since even the "toughness" they carry is kind of runny loose poo instead of a hard brick. If you know what I mean.

I bet Edmonton is wishing they held on to Dubnyk now. That is, if he was playing as well with them as he is playing with Minnesota now.

I know you said this, but I presented the challenge and I'll send you the money, dammit. So PM me your paypal, and then go stock up some extra beers for the playoffs.
