| So which "Black album" is the best?
AC/DC - Back In Black - 50 million copies sold, second highest selling album of all time, new lead singer replaces beloved singer who died tragically
Metallica - Metallica (aka The Black Album) - 30 million copies sold, best selling record of the Soundscan Era (1991-present), band alters beloved sound which many consider a tragedy
Spinal Tap - Smell The Glove - none more black
What's your favorite?

| I'm gonna be the wise guy who votes for Smell the Glove.

| Being that I'm so burned out on the first two examples I never want to hear either one of them again as long as I live....I guess I'm forced to go with Spinal Tap.

| Either AC/DC or Metallica. Both are decent albums. Spinal Tap are funny, but... c'mon. _________________ | |

| Going to hit AC/DC. Not familiar with the Tap but I can't always listen to Metallica. Can't imagine the day I say, "Ugh. Tired of AC/DC. Turn that crap off!" | |

| Even though it's very overplayed Back In Black is the better album. | |

| I love Bon Scott era AC/DC still, just almost never get in the mood to hear the Brian Johnson stuff...if that mood does strike then I play Flick Of The Switch because it wasn't completely ruined by being overplayed on radio and by rednecks in pickup trucks. |

| Maybe because no hard rock ever gets overplayed in the U.K and we don't really have rednecks. Back in Black for sure, although I play it very rarely. | |

| Which CD would I buy of the three ? Spinal Tap . No question. They ARE underrated. I'm sick of the other two CD's - big time. Spinal Tap is way more interesting - and they are damn good. 'Hell's Bells' is quite cool - always has been - I super love the live version !!! however...with that said.....'Christmas With The Devil'...is just bad ass... that opening guitar riff - forget it - and that guitar solo - holy wow. | |
