| This might be old news to some, but I just saw Ken Tamplin on Tosh.O. This guy is a minor guitar god and it was so weird to see him featured in one of Tosh's video redemption/skit things. He was being made fun of sort of, but took it well and played along. I'm sure he figured any publicity is good publicity as he was advertising voice lessons. Anyhow, just had to see if anyone else saw this. | |

| I think Tosh was pretty mellow on him. In comparison to most of the "guests" he has on usually. Ken still has the pipes! | |

| Wish he was still at it instead of doing tv show and movie songs. Magdallan, Shout, and his solo stuff is quality melodic hard rock that is greatly missing in today's Christian music scene. | |

Christian metal is overrun with metalcore and modern hard rock (I actually like a lot of modern rock, but none of the Christian bands have any guitar solos). There are some good stuff (Theocracy, Rob Rock, Narnia-most probably too Euro-power for you) but the crap is overwhelming. I used to go to a Christian bookstore and the only time I found anything good was when they were carrying Retroactive releases. I stopped going there because I could never find anything good. However, even though there is some good stuff, except for Liberty N' Justice, there is NOTHING in my favorite genre, AOR/MHR. That genre has been strong in the past 10+ years but I have yet to find any other Christian bands in this day and age playing that style. | |
