I'm currently addicted to this band and can't seem to get enough of them. It started with Required Fields sending me a Crystal Logic CD, to which I had to find the vinyl as well. Then it was Courts of Chaos, Mystification & Playground of the Damned.
Coming in the mail...Deluge & Mysterium.

Yeah! I started with Mystification and then went backwards. I still need to pick up a big chunk of their discography.

Wasn't there a Manilla Road discography thread ? I went to check it out and there doesn't appear to be one.

No matter how hard I try, I fail to get past Shelton's vocals. If their discography is not enough, you might wanna check out Thunder Rider and Brocas Helm. And Medieval Steel on top.

I have the Thunder Road CDs. Medieval Steel is good. Whenever you do a search of Heathens Rage, somehow Medieval Steel comes up in the mix. Haven't checked out Brocas Helm yet.

They don't quite go THERE for me as a whole, but certain songs do. "Crystal Logic" title track for example.

You're more than welcome for the Manilla Road CD! I'm glad you enjoy them as much as you do, Scott.
I own these albums by them: Crystal Logic Open the Gates The Deluge Mystification The Courts of Chaos Playground of the Damned Mysterium
My favorite is The Deluge, but I like them all to some degree or another.
Great band!

Just found this band myself. Great stuff. How can a band make such good music for so long and completely fly under my radar for so long. Amazing.

The only Manilla Road album I'm really familiar with is Out Of The Abyss. They pretty much went full-on thrash there. I've never gotten around to checking the rest of their discography out. Don't know why, but there it is.

Everything from Metal up to The Courts of Chaos (The Books of Skelos might just be their best song) is mandatory imo. Crystal Logic is definitely one of my all time faves.

I have that one too. It's not bad at all, but I think their 80's albums are probably better.

Your right, the 80's stuff is better, but not by much. They are pretty consistent. Not a stinker in the whole discography.

Pssssttt... Mystification was released in 1987. And was apparently recorded in Al Green's studio, ha!

I picked up Atlantis rising for like 2.99. Musically I thought it was pretty good I wasn't really sold on a story line about Atlantis though.
