| So just don't shove your big ol' momm-sister-auntie's West Virginia opinion into something you don't give a damn about then. I'd post Vera Cruz Hillbillies shooting up the place right now, pu I will bring it on home instead..

| I saw this documentry used to have it on VHS I think its possible, I do think its suspicious that his body was found just days after that interview too. However the argument that there was no way he could have shot himself due to the amt of drugs in his system is moot because he had been using for awhile I think he had built a tolerance. So I can go either way It wouldnt surprise me if he was murdered but also wouldnt surprise me if it was suicide (Kurt's family had a history of it) Good Topic | |

| Thx Addy. Pretty sure this is why I made this Room back in the day. If you remember, I initially wanted to call it "The W.A.R.-Free Room". A sanctuary for everything not related to GnR. | |

| I would never have anyone murdered, but if I did, I don't think that I'd spend 50 grand on hiring a brain dead bigmouth who loves to talk to anyone who'll listen. I would imagine that if there was the faintest shred of truth in any of this, the police would have spoken to Mr Douche pretty rapidly as they tend to be a bit like that. | |

| I just saw this documentary about a week ago on Netflix. El Duce's segment was the lone highlight, the rest of the movie was.... zzzzzzzzzzzzz.......
But seriously: I'm with Boris2008, if I were Courtney Love and I was going to hire someone to kill Kurt, El Duce is just about the LAST guy I would call.
The dude was a raging alcoholic/drug addict who could barely dress himself, or (as this film shows) keep his mouth shut...not exactly the kind of criminal mastermind you'd want to commit a celebrity murder for you. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Wow, this is something I have no real opinion on it. I never saw the documentary so I can't go from that, Freddy and Boris make valid points, and it just seems that any "name" person dies (celebrity, politican, etc.) and there's a conspiracy behind it. So, I'll just shrug my shoulders and say anything's possible | |

| I find myself wanting to punch Nick Broomfield (and I liked the Biggie & Tupac doc he did). Just something about that guy. Even worse than the accusing Love of murdering her husband was Broomfield acting like some martyr because she got MTV to pull out funding and wouldn't license the music. Actually made me feel somewhat sorry for Love. Cobain wrote a song and wanted to title the album "I Hate Myself And Want To Die", and he had massive drug and emotional issues. I don't think a complicated plot would have been needed to see him dead. By all accounts it was a miracle he didn't die long before his suicide.
I'll also add In Utero is a work of genius. In a just world it would have surpassed Nevermind.

| He had OD' on many occassions where Courtney Love would have to get his heart going again (in the book Heavier than Heaven) , He originally wanted to call In Utero "I Hate Myself And Want to Die" he did record a song with that title I think it was on the beavis & butthead compilation.
I found In Utero to be ok... some great songs on there, Nevermind was decent but I think their best at least IMO was Bleach

| Courtney was also in rehab during this time period. I remember reading that the last time Krist Novoselic saw him that they had a fight, more like a wrestling match something about him going to Rehab I dont remember the details exactly I also think that was in Heavier than Heaven too | |

What is this "documentary," though? If that clip is anything to go by, whoever put it together has no idea how to film or interview.

The whole intervention thing with Kurt was pretty bad. The band's management and business people were more interested in getting Kurt to agree to do Lollapalozza than they were getting him clean and healthy. Krist apparently tried to pull him aside after that debacle but it got ugly. Long before this their friendship had pretty much crumbled. There had been a push (lead by Love) to cut them (Krist and Dave) out of ownership and royalties and make them mere employees instead of band members. The other thing was Kurt was basically hiding out his last days. In Nirvana - The Biography there is a very creepy description of some house sitting guests watching the place knowing that the missing Kurt is hiding somewhere in the house. It's like he's a ghost or something. It should also be pointed out the many accusations that Love was carrying on an affair with Billy Corgan at this time too.

The Nirvana biography was that the one written by Everett True? Ive read that one.... the only bit here you posted I didnt know was the last bit about Courtney and Billy Corgan. Also from my reading everything was falling apart for Kurt very errie indeed.

It's called "Kurt and Courtney," a mostly pointless, no-budget "doc" by Nick Broomfield, a British journalist. Nick is apparently quite sure that Courtney Love had Kurt murdered. Unfortunately he can't get anybody from within the Nirvana "camp" (i.e. band mates, record company people, management, etc.) to talk to him about it... so the movie is basically him and a camera man driving aimlessly around Aberdeen (Kurt's home town) and Seattle talking to a bunch of drugged out wackos with tenuous (at best) connections to Kurt and/or Nirvana for about 90 minutes. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

No idea if THIS story is true, but find it strange I never heard a major backlash against it in the press from the Nirvana "camp" to clear Courtney.
