Uh...that "demo" is nothing but ambient noise. Not sure what's so great about it. Also sounds dated, like the end credits to a retro news cast.

sounds like typical Jimmy Page and even hints at Zeppelin.... of course some us Zeppelin fanatics are "dated" I love the guitar work in this and hope they do a "dated" sounding album or at least Page does.. Zeppelin is the greatest band of all time!!!! (guitar work starts around :50)

This doesn't sound at all like Zep. As far as a new album, really? Holy crap, how many years has it been. Let it be. Let Zep be. I'd really love for Jimmy, Robert and John to do something cool, just do it with another name. Don't be like everyone else, do it the Zep way and make it new again.

If they are going to reunite do it now, Jimmy Page will be turning 69 or 70 this January, I am not sure how kin he would be to do a full scale tour, if they reunite I hope its under a different name but the money would be too good to pass up, even for 3 guys who aren't hurting for it.

That demo doesn't sound all that great to me. I understand that it's a demo but it just sounds like it needs more to it. I think a more complete tune should have been leaked.
As for the reunion, why not ? If they're able to get it done, more power to them.

New Album/Tour..... Rick Rubin to produce and brick wall the sound... Rick Rubin, unhappy with Jason Bonham's playing replaces him with Brad Wilk, after the band turns down his Ginger Baker idea...

and they'll call it "31" which of course is "13" backwards and will add to the mystical attributes of Page's occult leanings.

Not really interested in new Zeppelin but would love the band to do a mini tour of sorts and play the classics. Celebration Day indeed!

I would prefer they actually record and release new material if they decide to do the full-scale tour thing. Once this generation of musicians retire I really think the world is going to be a much less interesting place, so I'm all for getting as much music from them as possible.

If they did another album, I wish they would go the way of Black Country, those two albums had massive Zep influence.
As to a tour, I would love for that, EXCEPT the fact that it would probably be limited to a few cities and I would have to take a loan out to pay for a ticket.

I am in the same car as Shawn. If they indeed go forward, new music with some touring would be my preference.

New Led Zep material would be great. Does it matter under what name they release it? And does it matter if it doesn't compare to the old stuff? 99.9999% of music doesn't either. As a fan, it'd just be great to have new material. Good or bad. Don't worry, you will still have the old stuff. It won't magically go away if they record new stuff. And if you hate the idea so much, just don't buy it. I know I will. I can think of a lot of worse ways to spend $20.

I'm of the "let it go already and more on" camp. Why bother at this point?
However, if they record new material anyway despite my objections, I'll certainly give it a listen. I haven't cared for anything Plant & Page (either together or on their own) have put out post-Zeppelin, with the exception of the Page/Coverdale album.
Hey, if Sabbath and Van Halen can still pull some magic out of their arses, why not these guys?

13 and A Different Kind of Truth would probably give me enough hope to at least check out a new Zep album.
