| Hello to everbody on this great board! I just wanted to know, what you think about this band: http://www.solidstaterecords.com/becomingthearchetype/ecard/popup.html I think it is almost generous to have the chance, to listen to the whole album online! I'm listening to it all day long! I have never heard of them before i was listening to reignradio...there i heard a song and it blew me away. Anybody else out there who likes this stuff? Markus |

| I like them a LOT! I like how they mix things up vocally and stylistically. They pull it off nicely. | |

| Good band. I hope the new album is even better. Especially vocally. | |

| Very talented band but the vocals get a little tiring after a while but with their most recent the clean vocals help quite a bit. | |

| Music is great, vocals get boring after awhile. | |

| I really like the Terminate Damnation LP. I'll be honest, I thought they were another goofy metalcore band that were sensitive on ocassion and liked to sing all gentle one second only to yell at you a second later. Boy I was wrong. These kids can play. The musicianship is ultra-tight. I compare their music to a mix of Opeth and Extol with a "modern" sounding vocalist. Opeth with the occasional acoustic or piano interlude and Extol with their positive message and sense of brutality. The vocals are my only slight complaint. I wish they weren't so generic, but I can't have everything. Honestly there aren't that many lyrics anyway. I really encourage those who are sitting the fence on this one to give in and listen to it. You should be pleasantly surprised like I am. I have their new album on the way as well. I look forward to many years of music from this fine band. |

| As much as I like their music and lyrics, a death metal band that I think is the cream of the crop and has less annoying vocals (and no positive Christian lyrics unfortunatly) is Daath, if lyrics aren't that big of a problem their new album the Hinders is a also a great death metal album that I feel surpasses Becoming The Archeype (not an easy task mind you). | |

| Becoming The Archetype has quickly become one of my favorite bands. And as I just stated in another thread, they are going to be touring on the East Coast and some in the Mid-West in '08...according to their website. I hope they come to Hoosierland! | |
