The nearest venue to me which has metal bands perform closed

This is sad.

The Elk's Lodge, a venue which was about a 20 minute drive from my place, and the only one to have metal bands perform on even a semi-regular basis, closed yesterday.

Many great shows were at this place. I am sad to see it go.

There are other venues within an hour radius who refuse to let metal bands perform. Hopefully with this news occurring, they'll cave in and let metal bands perform at last, but I don't see that happening.

I had some great times at the Elk's Lodge.

After watching these videos, I'd close this place down too........but on a serious note, if no $$$ is coming in to the venue to keep its doors open, businesses have to come to an end, it's just the way the cookie crumbles.
