| Thanks everybody! On my birthday, I got to visit a friend I haven't seen since automotive school (2009-2010). However, that was the only highlight of the week (more on that in my trucking thread). | |

Actually, I could use curb feelers on my truck when driving between concrete barriers (where the lane narrows and there is no shoulder) at night. Mainly because the old truck I'm assigned to has a bad glare on the windshield. I'm fine if no traffic is coming my way, blinding me with their headlights, or during the day. However, when blinded by headlights I have to slow down 10 MPH less in fear of hitting the concrete. However, I am getting better. Once I get the hang of it I will probably get the Volvo and a better windshield. Only figures that once I finally get the hang of this one I will get reassigned to a better one (probably would have been given a Volvo by now if I hadn't had all my problems. As for the other part of your joke, I doubt training wheels are necessary on a vehicle with 10 wheels carrying a trailer with 8. | |
