| This screencap is from a 1981 crime scene video on Youtube. The body was lying right next to this stack of records. Blood splatters are on them. I'm interested to know what record this is. It appears to be the back of the cover. | |

| At first glace I thought of The Doobie Brothers or Three Dog Night. I'm not familiar with every Jefferson Airplane album cover so maybe it's one of those. Definitely from the early 70's. | |

Here's the link. I won't post the video inside this thread because it has a gruesome thumbnail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W17drnwlvTA They enter the room with the records around the 2:20 mark. Warning: there is a dead body and a lot of blood. I'll do some research on Doobie Bros. records and see if that is it.

Thank you! After doing some research on eBay on the bands you mentioned (sellers sometimes include photos of the backs of albums), I found it! It is Three Dog Night Harmony from 1971!

| One thing I've learned in all this detective work is, while it's easy to look up record covers on the internet, there needs to be more resources available to scout the backs of record covers. | |

I just guessed on it. I have a Three Dog Night "Icon" CD sitting right near my desk and on the back 3 out of the 7 guys are wearing red pants and brown boots (so early 70's!) and seeing how one dude on the back of your record had the same, I just figured it was either the Doobies or 3DN.

I agree with this. I have been searching for a back cover photo to a 7" I had in the late 90s/early 2000s, from a hardcore band called Dead Nation (I Hate Cenk EP). The back picture had the whole band ollieing down a set of stairs...I really want to see that picture again, and I have long since sold the vinyl.
