I don't get into these acoustic albums much, Tesla did it well but mostly it feels like a cash grab. Like this though.

Shame it's only 4 tracks. Seems like kind of a tease.

I got caught up in the whole "unplugged"-mania for awhile there after Tesla hit pay dirt. I've heard/owned some good ones and some bad ones. If they're done right, I dig 'em.

Speaking of Mr. Lynch, even though he remained plugged in, Dokken's One Live Night is a good one.

I see these at my Hastings and they're selling them for 15.00 a piece.  I'm going to hold out for their bargain bin arrival.

I like unplugged stuff mainly because it can show how strong lyrically something this or how good a performer can elevate things from the basics.  One big pet peeve I have is stuff being labeled acoustic  when it isn't.  Just adding a few strings here and there isn't an acoustic version in my view.
