Megadeth, Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted, Death Division
GIGANTOUR--the critically acclaimed package festival founded in 2005 by MEGADETH’s Dave Mustaine—returns in 2013 with an incredible new line-up for the tour. In addition to headliner MEGADETH, the multi-artist bill features metal heavyweights BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, DEVICE, HELLYEAH, NEWSTED and DEATH DIVISION, all personally picked by MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine.
GIGANTOUR “This year’s power-packed lineup is probably the best Gigantour yet, and we’ve had some pretty massive Gigantours over the years.
The best yet? Haha! Oh well, I guess when you are hyping a tour you have to say that.
In years past we've had Overkill, Nevermore, Anthrax, Motorhead, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Symphony X, Into Eternity, Dream Theater, In Flames, Volbeat, among others.

"all personally picked by Dave Mustaine" - translation: after the 20 other better bands he asked turned him down (or wanted more money) this was what was left.

Hey, he was able to score Device, which according to the 2013 Revolver Golden Gods Awards, were recently named The Best New Talent.

This year's line up is a joke...... Best yet my a$$..... As SD said, it's BEST of who was willing to play for what Mustaine was paying

For all of you old farts out-of-the-loop, here is Device. It's what all the cool kids are listening to.

Sounds like re-hashed NiN/Industrial stuff to my ears

Okay I just heard Device for the first time WHAT THE F*CK. They sound JUST like Disturbed in every way. They belong nowhere near Megadeth, although I suppose this could be highly relative at this stage.

I didn't hate Disturbed, not a favorite but listenable when they came on the radio. I give Dave props for trying to branch out.

I'm sure their placement on the Gigantour has absoulutley nothing to do with the Disturbed/Device guy recently appearing on the upcoming Megadeth album. Just a wacky coincidence.

Yay, another "package tour" that I can safely skip without feeling like I've missed anything.

Yup. David Drainman, the singer for both Disturbed and now Device, is credited on 2 songs on Super Collider.

I can't imagine the kids wanting to see this line-up.

Didn't realize Device was Draiman's band. Horrible stuff, really.

I'm going cuz it's megadeth and they are actual coming to play my area!!! I can drive 45 minutes instead of 8 hours (I live way the hell north). A I'm actually really stoked about black label society and newsted. I love watching zack live and I'm interested in seeing Jason front a band (and I really like the newsted ep). Between those three bands it sounds like a pretty solid metal show. I don't get what everybody dislikes about it. And disturbed was always one of the better gateway bands for kids to get into the heavy stuff. They were simple, crunchy, and catchy. It worked for me anyway so it would be cool to catch Draiman sing, chances are he'll throw in some disturbed classics. Hellyeah, at the very least will be loud dumb and fun.

Ult, you should definetly blackmail Dave into letting you onto a gigantour package sinse he has obviously stolen the riff from one for all.
