My favorite is probably 'An Abandoned Grave Bathes Softly In The Falling Moonlight' or 'Invert The Inverted Cross'.

Jayson Sherlock loves extreme music & it shows. He never comes across as trying to give a "christian version" of something. He does what he does & it is what it is. Horde was great.

I checked the ALWAYS reliable source known as Wikipedia, and I couldn't find any evidence the album had been remixed or even remastered. Instead, all I could find was that it had been reissued a couple of times with the bonus track and one reissue came in a digipak.

There SHOULD be 777 songs, but then too many people would know about the band and they would no longer be tr00.

I remember when this was out of print in 1997, and I was keen to get a copy. I swapped a picture disc promo copy of Tourniquet's Crawl to China, for Horde's Hellig Usvart, via a friend (we were each desperate for each other's respective cds). A couple of years later, I scored my friend a replacement copy of Hellig Usvart and I bought myself a regular copy of Crawl to China.

I always enjoyed Hellig Usvart in doses. I like some Black Metal, and they scratch the itch at times.

I love Horde. Hellig Usvart was definitely my introduction to Black Metal. I still like old school black metal. There is something very special about good old school black metal. I never dug very deep into the scene, but the albums I like, I really like.
