Sodom: Epitome of Torture (2013)

How does the newer stuff compare to the old?

I only have The Final Sign Of Evil which I understand is a re-recording of old material. I quite enjoyed it, great brutal thrash. I saw a double pack of some OOP Sodom CDs at Half-Price Books but they're over $40:

Just like the Whiplash they sold for a high price a while back, I'm hoping it's there long enough to get slashed in price.

Way less raw then when they started, they have more groove if you ask me.

I really like this album. Agent Orange is probably still my favorite but This one is killer. Stigmatized just get's my blood flowing insanely!

Sodom's never let up. For me their newer material is so aggressive and threatening that it makes their early work almost comedic. I love the raw production of that early work, but now they're just a slaughterhouse, one of the most violent bands out there as far as sound and songwriting. To which I say F*ck yes.

So i played this album today. Still sounds fantastic!
