Awesome gig! Overkill was great and Testament just killed it. It was awesome to see Testament actually headline a show - the other times they weren't the headliner (Testament/Megadeth on Practice/Rust In Peace tour), Metal Master tour (w/ Heaven & Hell, Priest, Motorhead) and last year on the Anthrax tour (they blew Anthrax off the stage).

The new songs were amazing live - I wish that had played a couple more.

Summer rather than spring but I've definitely decided to go to Bloodstock this year.

King Diamond, Slayer, Anthrax, Lamb of God, Accept, Exodus, Death Angel announced already (along with loads of others)

Best of it is, Bloodstock takes place six miles from my house! Very Happy

3/20 - Jeff Loomis, Blackguard, Bonded By Blood, Hatchet - I wasn't going to go to this originally, but the two bad openers dropped and BBB and Hatchet were added, so it's definitely worth it now.

4/19 - Diamond Head, Cauldron, Phantom - This is going to be a NWOBHM dream. I've seen all three bands before and they're all insanely good live.

4/26 - Yngwie Malmsteen - It will be my first time seeing him and I can't wait!

5/31 - Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Immolation - I've waited 3 years to see Cannibal Corpse! Immolation will be a great bonus Very Happy

4 gigs lined up for me so far this year:

First up is carcass next month at the camden underworld, massively looking forward to this. Been a fan for such a long time yet never managed to see them live.

Then its queensryche in april. Not the Geoff Tate version but what I consider to be the proper queensryche Smile

its a greatest hits set culled from the first five albums only. Islington academy, london.

May is another live first. Seeing the mighty Rush at the o2 arena.

The last gig so far this year is megadeth at the brixton academy in June. Only just bought the tickets tonight for this one.

Master is cool. I saw Sacrifical Slaughter at least when I saw them they sucked!

I heard some stuff by Sacrificial Slaughter and thought it was ok at best. Fisthammer are pretty good.
