Definitely not a rockin' album but I have been a fan of this music my entire life (and I suspect many of you here enjoy it too). I don't have it yet but it is being shipped and should be here any day:

Vince Guaraldi's debut album "Vince Guaraldi Trio" on Fantasy is another one I highly recommend. The mood that landed him the Charlie Brown gig was already on display from his first album.

Yea, I've had that one on cd for some time now. We kicked off the start of the season this past weekend at my brother's, watching the local Thanksgiving Parade, so that album will be getting some airtime.

I know this one probably doesn't mean a whole lot to most people but to me it does. It is the hardest to find Styx album on vinyl. Edge Of The Century. I bought it brand new on vinyl in 1990 on the day of release (and the CD). Somewhere over the last 25 years I lost it, probably in one of our moves to various states. I have been keeping an eye out for this for a while and when I would find a used copy most of them were from overseas vendors or priced around $150 - $200. I finally found a used copy for $12. It was graded as VG but after I cleaned it I believe it is more NM than anything else. Cover is in great shape, still has the shrink wrap on it. I just tossed the paper sleeve and used a Sleeve City Diskeeper. Haven't played it yet but will when I have time. Glad to have finally found it. I used to have so much Styx product on vinyl, even all of the solo albums. I hope to find another one I lost, a copy of JY's "Out On A Day Pass" (the guitarist for Styx). Those were very limited edition on white vinyl. It was released in 1987 or 88 and you could order them directly from his house. Just send him a check and he would mail the album. It was never available in stores. I have a CD copy of it that he also sold about a year later, again from his home address. But would eventually like to find the white vinyl.
