| Anyone else a fan of Tommy Victor's Prong? I have liked them since the I was about 15 (so 10 years now). Absolutely love Prove You Wrong and everything after. The early stuff is a little odd but still interesting heavy stuff. Their latest Scorpio Rising is killer. They have a new album coming out at the beginning of October so I have high hopes for that one as well. |

| I'm a big fan, though I didn't think Scorpio Rising was all that good. The demos Tommy put on MySpace over the past few years have been really good, though, so I look forward to the new album. |

| I will also add that the riff to "Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" is one of the greatest metal riffs ever! Top 10, easy. |

| Wow, Prong is a name I haven't heard in a while. I haven't listened to 'em in a long time but I dug the BEG TO DIFFER and PROVE YOU WRONG albums back in the day.
I saw them live at this little dump on Staten Island, NY while I was in college (circa 1991), they were a pretty killer live band... I will never forget that show because there were some crazy bastards throwing the little cafe' tables from the back of the room around in the pit. (!!) Type O Negative opened that show, I don't think their debut album had even been released yet...memories, memories...

| I have Prove You Wrong, but it's on my trade list. To be honest, I listened to it only once, and I didn't like it at all. Perhaps I should give them the 2nd chance? | |

| I remember seeing them as an opening act (for Ozzy, maybe?) and liking the song Snap You Finger, Snap Your Neck. I picked up the album, but it never did anything for me and I sold it. | |

You'd probably like Bed To Differ a WHOLE lot more sovvy. It's much more thrash-oriented than their later albums. _________________ You're cancer, you can't be the answer, you're killing me

| I just can't seem to really get into them. I still need to review Prove You Wrong. It have listened to it a few times, but it hasn't clicked yet, so I've held off writing something for now.

| Snap your fingers, Snap your neck is certainly one of the great riffs of all time. In fact a whole lot of that album could be listed in greatest riffs of all time. I've seen Prong several times with several line ups and they have always been great. I have met Tommy a couple of times and he was very friendly and a riot to hang around with. He has been pretty busy lately so if you like his guitar work he also plays on Danzig's Circle of Snakes and Minisitry Rio Grande Blood, along with some guesting on the upcoming Ministry album. Prove You Wrong is kind of a transistional album between their early thrash stuff and their more modern start/stop big groove riff stuff. Besides Beg to Differ and Prove You Wrong I would reccomend Cleansing, Scorpio Rising and Rude Awakening, but keep in mind Rude Awakening is kind of industrial. |

| Well I have now officially heard the new Prong Power of the Damager and it is excellent. Huge start/Stop riffs with giant melody lines, a little more thrash oriented and more melodic than Scorpio Rising. Little to no electronic sampling like some of the previous releases. |

| Before I became a Christian and dumped over 100 CDs I had Beg To Differ, Prove You Wrong, and Cleansing (all good releases that I would describe as Alternative Thrash). I have yet to re-capture them but have downloaded a couple of their songs. No idea what they sound like since Tommy Victor got them back together but I plan on checking them out. | |

A practice that baffles me to this day. You have to understand that the person who led me to Christ sowed seeds of doubt in me about secular music. If I could go back in time I would NOT have gotten rid of those CDs (it's a pain in tha arse trying to re-capture them) but things happen for a reason, and I have sinced re-captured over 20 of them and My collection has grown from over 300 CDs in 2001 to over 700 currently.
