Desolation Angels - Desolation Angels +2 - this is the Buried By Time and Dust reissue that just came out on 12/28. It includes the Valhalla 7" as bonus tracks. I got the vinyl BBTAD version earlier in 2012 and they finally just released the CD version.

Nice. I got the Feels Like Thunder box set when it came out a few years ago. Great collection. Do you know if this new reissue has anything not included in the box set?

Hmmm...it appears that box set is missing quite a few things, actually. =(

Yes. That boxset (which I also have) does not have this album on it at all. It also does not have the 7" Valhalla single version on it, but it does have the song Boadicea that is the b-side on the Valhalla 7" single.

Yeah, just noticed that. Got a bit of deja vu, too, so something is telling me I learned this long ago and just forgot. But still, looks like I need some stuff.

How is it with all the crap you buy, you're just getting that one now?

Because I illegally downloaded it when it first leaked! This is why I try to only download the old, rare stuff. If I download something common, when I'm out in a CD shop I more often than not pass it over for something I haven't heard yet, unless it's really cheap.
That's what happened here. I just kept passing it over because I kind of already had it. But with all the talk of their upcoming album, I figured it was time to really buy it. Plus it helps that I had gift cards from my wedding and Christmas. =)

Well, I guess I can buy that line of reasoning. I'm just bustin' your onions.
Considdering how much we all spend on music, I always get a chuckle when I see anyone's recent purchases and I see something "classic" on there.
"Hey, I just got Master of Puppets and boy-howdy, does it rock!"

In my case, it is due to my having ALOT of stuff on vinyl and I sometimes will purchase an "oldie-but-goodie" on disc for mere convenience,

That "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" set is great.
I used to own both the US and UK versions on vinyl (different tracklists), it was nice to get everything collected in one place.

For those who may not consider Floyd to be a "heavy" band should listen to this. The locale adds to this big time. I had a bootleg VHS for years (recorded off of a PBS channel in So. Calif in the late 70's) The DVD is a vast improvement sound wise.

Nice haul there, jstate.
The first purchases of 2013 have been rolling in:
Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell - Don't Hear it...Fear It Cathedral - The Carnival Bizarre High Spirits - High Spirits Pink Cream 69 - Pink Cream 69 (reissue w/3 bonus tracks) Troubled Horse - Step Inside Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats - Blood Lust Zodiac - A Bit of Devil Zuul - Out of Time Zuul - To The Frontlines (with a nifty patch)
Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell. Cool band, awful name. Too damn wordy.
