| Imagine what the guys in those bands think! Great music, though. 1983 is one of my favorite music years. | |

| All of those always felt old albums to me anyway. What will be more striking to me is when 90's albums start being 25+ years old in just two years time. | |

Obviously made that up for comedic effect. But you pieced it together!!! Very Metal. If you ever get a chance, go to the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, IA and [if you can't get permission beforehand], seriously, just jump on that stage and you will feel some strange shiz.

I bet! So the Surf Ballroom is still there? I guess as a tribute.

I went with my sister and her boyfriend. Then in Aug of 76, I saw them in Burbank with my brother. _________________

| Every music fan should make the trek out to the Surf Ballroom. And the corn field where the plane went down. It's a pretty haunting experience. I had relatives who lived in Iowa and when making the trip I always made a point of taking a few hours to visit the ballroom and site.
It's funny how events in my life from 25 years ago seem like lifetimes ago. But the music that was the soundtrack to those events doesn't.
