Helloween - Straight Out Of Hell out January 18, 2013

I just have to wait and listen.

Helloween are always a must buy.

I went crazy and ordered the japan version which has a different bonus track. and I also got the vinyl. I hope it arrives soon.

I'm really looking forward to this album.

Best Buy is offering up that same deal. I pre-ordered mine through there (plus a couple other cds) since I had credits through their Reward Zone program. The cd ended up costing me only $1.05.

Two listens in. Good album, nothing really new but that's fine, they are great at what they do and I enjoy it. Won't top Gambling or Time of the Oath for my favorites but a very worthy album. Deris is in great form.

Mine has been shipped so I should have it in a few days.

Mine arrived today (the one with the 2 bonus tracks). Giving it a listen to now. So far,so good. Another rock solid release by Helloween.

I didn't get mine yet. In anticipation, I've been spinning 7 Sinners a lot lately. I didn't 'love' it originally, but now especially Who Is Mr.Madman, Raise the Noise, World of Fantasy, You Stupid Mankind and The Sage, the Fool, the Sinner have become all-time 'Ween classics to me.

I still need to get this. No time after work...

Really good. But i believe that 7 sinners is a bit better so far

I'm liking it better then 7 Sinners but both are very good.

Never been a big fan of this band though they have released a number of great songs. Couldn't really get into 7 Sinners. Will stream on Spotify and give it a shot.

I'm leaning towards this being better than 7 Sinners (not that it was a bad release or anything)

Just listened to "Straight out of Hell" on Spotify cuz I won't be able to get the CD for a while at least... sounds pretty good to me.

Another excellent album from these guys. Some new flavors on this one, but it's still Helloween.

The production isn't the greatest, though. The drums and guitars sound a bit too boxed in. Not terrible (unless you're S.D.), but not great, either.

hahaha. I haven't gotten my cd from Japan yet. I'm hoping today. I listened to the record I got through headphones the other night and it sounded awesome to me. I think even better than the last few albums. I think the instruments sound a little clearer especially the drums which seemed to get burried down lately. For the hell of it I ripped the record so I could listen to it at work only problem was the stupid thing would only rip in mono but at least I got to listen to it a little more today and I really like it. Some songs I'm already humming and I only heard them a few times.

I listened to a bit of the new album on Spotify. It was okay, but nothing I will buy. I haven't purchased any Helloween since, I believe, Dark Ride.

I also sampled some of the new Crashdiet and Voivod. Wasn't really feeling either. They were okay.

I have received mine. Just need to rip to my computer and add it to tomorrow's playlist.
