| I have several thousand baseball cards dating from the mid-1980's through 1991-92. Thousands and thousands of them in mint condition in sleeves. Most of them are the full series including all the rookie cards. Anyone know what something like this is worth? Anyone interested in a collection like this? I don't collect baseball cards, but I inherited them from my Uncle. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Up here, a lot of comic book shops and places like that will do an estimate of the value of your collection. | |

Well then you need to complete your collection so you have it all from the 70's through the 90's. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I used to collect them a couple years back, I've probably got around 5-8,000. They just sit and collect dust now, though. | |

| Most cards from the 80s/90s arent really worth all that much, due to the fact that they were produced in such great numbers. If you sell them all at once you might make a profit, but dont expect too much for them. | |

| I collected cards when I was a kid in the 70's, but I didnt keep em 'cause I didnt think they would be worth something these days. I started collecting again in 1990 for a few years, I have tons of 'em from the early 80's to about 1993. I sold quite a bit about 15 years ago. I also have NHL, NFL, NBA, and tons of other obscure stuff like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Star Trek.
The steroid era really killed the prices on alot of the stud cards (big name players) which I bought alot of like Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, Jose Canseco, and others.

| My collection took a big value hit after the '94 Strike. The steriod era only worsened it. Now they just sit gathering dust in storage. One thing I still love about those old cards though is the look of the players. Man did everything become sterile and generic after a certain point. Today they all pretty much look alike. | |

| I really stopped buying baseball related stuff after the strike. It really turned me off. _________________ | |

Same here before I stopped collecting i Was focusing on older players like Nolan Ryan and anybody from the 500 club players like Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, etc... that era
