Oh really?

Dogs are way more loyal and more obiediant than any cat ive ever met

I was goofin' on Dark Horseman Addy.

I know you were goofin i was just giving you a hard time Very Happy

Cool, just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't trying to put anyone down.

I still prefer cats though. BTW, if you're judging pets by "loyalty", my little brown one greets me at the door when I come home, follows me everywhere I go and sleeps with me insisting on not just sleeping on the bed but actually being up against me. Sounds like a dog with low maintenance to me. Laughing

My other one is a typical cat; pet me when I let you know I want to be petted, otherwise just feed me and keep the box clean.

My cat is a mixture of both of those. Always waiting for me, following me around, and sleeping in the bed (and sometimes against me depending if I move around a lot or not). Sometimes though he'll act like I'm trying to hurt him when I try to pet him even to the point of yelling at me (I outsmart him though and get a hold of him and can calm him down-he might be bi-polar).

Goats! They are a have a nice combination of dog and cat qualities. The older ones are very independent and use their intelligence more, but the younger ones can be more doglike and will follow a person around wanting to be pet. The odd thing is that their personalities seem to change as they gain seniority, they seem to know when they have to be the responsible and smart ones in the herd. Plus goats are very "metal"! Although the ones I've owned hate music to be honest, really hate it, they seem to find it really confusing for some reason.
I've also heard that Ducks of all things can be great pets if you raise them to be tame, although I've never owned one.
Has anyone ever had a Parrot? Can you teach them to sing metal? I bet you could.
I once knew a guy that had a semi-tame Bat living in his cabin for years. The thing flew in to sleep every day, and I think it hibernated under the eaves in winter. Gave me the creeps not because it was a bat per se, but because of the possible rabies issue.

I've been around those little pygmy goats some, they're kind of fun to be around but seems like more work than a cat for sure. They'd head butt each other constantly.
