remember the 80s?..dude, I never left. I listen to 80s music 98% of the time. I still have hair down to my waist done big 80s style, I still have 80s metal posters all over my music room, still play my charvel guitar I bought in the 80s and have all the 80s tv and movies on dvd...

This is one of my personal favourites, but not particularly famous (until the leading player grew two beards and also joined a very famous band from his country). These blokes have been doing it before the European wave of power metal began.
My kind of 80s metal music- clear classic rock influence, with a bit of AOR, and loud, clear guitars. I like stuff from this time, such as Pretty Maids, Heavy Load, Stormwitch and the original Europe.

I listen to very little 80's music anymore, but there are still some things that resonate with me. Celtic Frost is one of them...

Huey Lewis has always been a favorite of mine. Thats what was so great about the 80's,even pop music was good.

The 80's had some catchy pop tunes....will never buy it ! Yet, won't change the radio station if "True", "Too Shy", "Cars", "Stand or Fall", "Walkin in LA" or "We Got The Beat" came on.
