| My favorite *underrated CD is Deliverance-What a Joke.
And in all Honesty it’s probably my second favorite (if not tied for first) Big D album. It sold poorly and in fact, stores returned boxes of cd's to the label. I know the songs were considered "offensive" and somewhat "intolerant" from a Christian perspective. But Musically I still feel that is the cleanest, purist, fastest exhibition of speed guitar/metal I have ever heard. Not to mention fun and original. So much for creativity and musicianship.
*underrated-sold poorly, got poor reviews

I like it. Not their best, but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be either. I'm gonna go with the lost gem on the 70's Aerosmith collection: AEROSMITH - Night in the Ruts
A great album IMO. As heavy as "Rocks" and contains some great songs like "No Surprise", "Think About It", "Three Mile Smile/Reefer Head Woman" and "Bone to Bone".

| I like WHAT A JOKE, THE X FACTOR and RAM IT DOWN too. I think that TURBO, THE ULTIMATE SIN or THE BLITZ/HEART ATTACK by KROKUS are underated albums too. | |

| Vengeance Rising - Released Upon The Earth...
I love just about everything about this album and don't understand why it's hammered so much. I like the leanings towards more death-i-ness and I think the lyrics (although coming from a man even then unglueing) are very worshipful and uplifting...if that makes sense. Musically, I love how it romps at times and at other times just has a nice crunch......

The harder "death-i-ness" as you put it......technical term.

| So far I like all the albums listed here. "What A Joke" has some excellent cuts! "Released Upon the Earth" is a good Roger Rising album, although not exactly up to "Human Sacrifice" or "Once Dead". - TrogDawn wrote:

ALICE COOPER - Flush the Fashion ALICE COOPER - Special Forces ALICE COOPER - Zipper Catches Skin KISS - Music from The Elder SAVATAGE - Fight for the Rock YES - Big Generator Flush the Fashion rules. Such a great pop/rock album. It's far removed from what most know Alice for, but it's still a great album. Big Generator is excellent! Wasn't it somewhat of a hit? I thought it did fairly well for the band. Any Sabbath with Ozzy rules! Not a big fan of "Fight for the Rock". I has some redeeming qualities though. It's just not among their best IMO. Same with "Ram It Down."

"Love Will Find a Way" was a fairly big radio song. In fact, that's how I first heard about the album. (Man, the days of me getting turned on to anything via the radio are long gone, I'm afraid! ) I guess it just always seemed to me like this album was forever in the shadow of the mega-huge 90125 and never really got its due. Personally, I prefer this one to its predecessor. - ultmetal wrote:

I've always enjoyed it for some reason. Not that it blows me away like the other early Savatage releases with the original lineup, but their sound is still there, and that's usually what allows me to enjoy almost anything by a band I like, even if the material isn't that strong. I see it as their version of Technical Ecstasy, or Turbo. The original lineup with the sound still intact, but applied to a more commercial endeavor.

| Vanhalen 2 has always been my favorite Halen cd. Everybody else in the world (present company excluded, of course ) seems to care only about the s/t, and 1984, and 5150. But I remember having this on 8 track as a wee lass and lovin the heck out of it. Pure, unadulterated, in your face barroom rock and roll!!! | |
