| Available now for $0.99: http://www.amazon.com/Shock-Totem-Holiday-Macabre-ebook/dp/B00695SL8I So we're doing a special Shock Totem e-book for the holidays this year. It'll become available around Dec 1. This one is a bit different from our print issues in that it will feature fiction from the main Shock Totem staff, extended staff and others. It'll also include anecdotal holiday memories from a wide range of artists, some dark, some funny, some sweet. Here is the current TOC (we may get a few more holiday memory entries in the next day or two) and artwork: * Heartless, by Mercedes M. Yardley * Vincent Pendergast’s Holiday Recollection * Jennifer Pelland’s Holiday Recollection * Streamer of Silver, Ribbon of Red, by K. Allen Wood * Mark Allan Gunnells’ Holiday Recollection * Nick Cato’s Holiday Recollection * Santa Claus Is Coming to Get You, by Kevin J. Anderson * Stacey Longo’s Holiday Recollection * Tinsel, by John Boden * Leslianne Wilder’s Holiday Recollection * One Good Turn, by Robert J. Duperre * Jack Ketchum’s Holiday Recollection * Sheldon Higdon’s Crappy Holiday Recollection * Christmas Wish, by Sarah Gomes * Simon McCaffery’s Holiday Recollection * ‘Twas the Night, by Nick Contor * Daniel I. Russell’s Holiday Recollection * Lee Thompson’s Holiday Recollection * A Krampus Christmas, by Ryan Bridger * Howling Through the Keyhole (Story Notes) The artwork is ridiculously good! I'm kinda bummed it won't see release in print. Maybe next year we'll open submissions and expand it to print. For now, though, it'll be an e-book. I'll post again when it's available. =) I know the fact that this is an e-book will keep most of your from reading it, but I figured I'd post it anyway. Hell, most of the Shock Totem team won't even be able to read this because they've yet to embrace digital publishing! Haha.

| It will work for the iPad, iPhone, PC, etc. You'll just have to download the Kindle app.

And Mikio Murakami (http://www.silentqdesign.net) did the cover. He's the man! He did the covers for issues 3 and 4, and he's so good we already have work for issues 5 and 6.
For those unaware, John Boden is Shiney and Nick Contor is Tall Tyrion, though he doesn't come around much these days.

| I will get this. I've loved everything from you so far. But I agree, I wish this was a physical release. The artwork alone would have been worth the price! _________________ | |

It was such a last-minute idea it would have been impossible to do a print version. Not enough time. Plus Rex never responds to my e-mails. Thanks, Kurt! Off topic: I sent that CD yesterday. The digipack might be the flimsiest I've ever seen!

| Sorry, I won't be able to support you this time around. Hell, I barely do digital downloads of music. Books on a "Kindle"? I'm not there yet. Let me know when the next hard copy comes out. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Haha. I understand that.
But, if you're interested at all, you can download numerous Kindle apps so you can read Kindle books on your PC or phone or whatever.

| This is pretty cool.
Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #3,483 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)
#25 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Fiction > Short Stories #38 in Books > Literature & Fiction > Short Stories #95 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Fiction > Genre Fiction > Horror
I know it won't last, but it'd be cool if it stayed that way. =)

What did it cost? 3.47 What? From what site? It's set at $0.99 for all four Amazon sites you can buy it from (.com, .co.uk, .de and .fr). I mean, even if they did some weird conversion rate, where out of those four regions is one US dollar worth 3.47?

| I clicked the link in your first post. My memory was a little off, so the pice was lower. Her is what it says: Kindle Price: $3.44 includes VAT & free international wireless delivery via Amazon Whispernet Perhaps it costs more delivering files to Norway!?! _________________ | |

Perhaps it costs more delivering files to Norway!?! Yeah, maybe. It should be $0.99, but I don't know what's up with VAT and that other thing.
