what is the CD that you own that you are most embarrassed of?

And I have several David Sanborn CDs; I think they got the first vowel in the name wrong when they called the instrument the "saxophone". Should have been an "e".

If you like David Sanborn, you should check out Eric Marienthal. My favorite saxophone player, he used to play with Chick Corea's Electrik Band.

My Static-X cds really seem out of place amongst my collection that is almost entirely thrash and classic heavy metal. Then there's Soundgarden and Audioslave, but it seems like most people I've talked to don't mind them

The only thing that makes me wonder in my collection, is I have a few Amy Grant CD's. I like her pop stuff, and she has some songs that are surprisingly deep, that being said 'Baby Baby' and other songs off her most famous album still suck, but I do like a lot of her music

my wife owns her entire catalog and there are some good things on her albums. I also like some Steven Curtis Chapman.

I dont feel the need to hide any of my music - if listening to SCC makes me 'unmetal' so be it.

Exactly Exact. I can't believe as a kid I was so dumb as to judge friends for not being 'metal enough' because they liked some other stuff like Madonna or Depeche Mode along with their metal. I had no idea I would one day agree with them.

If that makes me 'non-metal', then take away my metal card. I'll get a 'variety' card instead. I'm always gonna love my metal though.

yep. I am into stuff from The Oceans Blue to Huey Lewis and all kinds of different things. Metalheads promote this 'stand up to authority- dont assimilate' mantra but when you do it to them, they say your 'unmetal'.

The Jackson 5 Greatest Hits CD and It's a Sunshine Day (The Best Of The Brady Bunch) would have to be the two CDs in my collection that most people would "scratch their head" over. And if you don't like it... TAKE THIS!!

Yes is a bit of pretty boy goth metal but damn it, the songs on the album are good IMO.

The cover is embrassing, and while I am not a fan of the band of America, they certainly are not anything to be ashamed of for liking.

I have all kinds of stuff in my collection. 80's pop song comps, Rap, Hip-Hop, country, etc. It's all there. Let's face it, through the years I've had many different friends that didn't listen to metal, so there tastes rubbed off on me. Besides, when you have people over for a get together, or party, not everyone wants to listen to metal. Especially the metal that I am usually playing. It's nice to be able to provide them with a variety.



If I had to narrow it down to just one, it would be my Richard Simmons "Sweatin' to the oldies."

The cover is what makes it border on embarrassment, but that just has to do with the fact that unicorns are associated with little girls.
